Pollock Stock
Pollock Stock is a pure, Icelandic natural product. Its main characteristics are:
- Pollock Stock is manufactured from frozen, de-skinned Pollock fillets (Pollachius virens).
- The starting material must pass the strict requirements set by NorthIce for freshness and
flavor. Ensuring quality ingredients means that the product is of both high quality and constant high standard.
- Its flavor qualities are exceptional: the pure, clean and mild fish taste.
- Pollock Stock has the fragrance of freshly caught fish.
- The color is milky, slight grey, giving it little or no effect on the color of a dish in which it is used.
- Pollock Stock is convenient for chefs to use. They can either remove the entire contents at once, or allow Pollock Stock to warm slightly, making it easy to slice off a suitable quantity with a knife. To do so, it should stand for about 10 minutes are room temperature, before slicing with a knife.
- Pollock Stock dissolves quickly and completely in water.
- Pollock Stock contains no artificial additives of any sort. It is produced exclusively from
Pollock fillets. No salt, spices, flavor enhancers or other substances are added, which means that Pollock Stock does not interfere with anything else in the recipe.
- We recommend that Pollock Stock be stored frozen, but if it is kept thawed in a refrigerator it should be stirred before use.
