Shrimp Stock

Coldwater shrimp
Shrimp Stock is a pure, Icelandic natural product. Its main characteristics are:

  • Shrimp Stock is produced from frozen-at-sea coldwater shrimp (Pandalus borealis).
  • The starting material must pass the strict requirements set by NorthIce for freshness and flavor. Ensuring quality ingredients means that the product is of both high quality and constant high standard.
  • Its flavor qualities are exceptional: the pure, clean taste of coldwater shrimp.
  • Shrimp Stock has the fragrance of fresh coldwater shrimp.
  • The color is similar to that of coldwater shrimp, and strength of the color depends upon how much it is diluted.
  • Shrimp Stock is convenient for chefs to use. It can be used without thawing, simply by slicing off a suitable amount with a knife.
  • Shrimp Stock dissolves quickly and completely in water.
  • Shrimp tock contains no artificial additives of any sort. It is produced exclusively from coldwater shrimp. No salt, spices, flavor enhancers or other substances are added, which means that Shrimp Stock does not interfere with other ingredients in the recipe.
  • We recommend that Shrimp Stock be stored frozen, but if it is kept thawed in a refrigerator it should be stirred before use.
